The Premier Hotels & Resorts group has appointed Chris Snyman as GM of the Premier Hotel Cape Manor in Sea Point, Cape Town.

This follows on his success as General Manager at Premier Hotel Moorings in Knysna on the Garden Route which recently hosted the French and Danish media during the World Cup.

“Building a successful team that not only strives for service excellence but also cares about each individual guest has always been my primary goal. Taking on a new GM position for the Premier group comes with its fair share of responsibility yet it is a very exciting challenge,” says Chris, a consummate hotelier.

Having completed a degree in Hotel School Diploma in 1998, Chris began his professional career by working in some of the finest hotels in and around South Africa including Blaauwklippen Wine Estate, Western Cape Hotel & Spa, Arabella Sheraton Grand Hotel, the Table Bay Hotel, Spier Wine Estate, Jumeirah International Hotel (Dubai), Hotel Le Vendome and  Pearl Valley Golf Estate in various managerial  positions, including Food and Beverage, Operations, Banqueting, and Events Management, helping him to develop his solid expertise within the hospitality realm.

Appointed as GM of Premier Hotel Moorings in 2009, Chris has swiftly earned his new, expanded role within the Premier group through both his managerial and people skills.

“Working for the Premier group has enabled me, as a team leader, to facilitate the best training for staff in order to provide  top service for our guests which I believe is the mantra of the Premier brand,” says Chris.
