Blood, sweat and tears all lead up to this moment, can you tackle the Comrades Marathon?
About the Comrades Marathon
The Comrades Marathon is an annual ultramarathon which is run between the cities of Durban and Pietermaritzburg. The world’s largest ultramarathon race, this event attracts up to 23, 000 athletes from over 60 countries. On many an athlete’s bucketlist, this is an event not to be missed!
The Route
Not for the faint-hearted, this race takes serious guts! Athletes must cover a distance of +_ 90 km in 12 hours. Each year, the race changes directions and is considered an “up” or a “down” race. The 2017 race was an uphill battle, and athletes can look forward to a “down race” in 2018.
