Premier Hotels opens for Business

Further to the announcement in Alert Level 3, Premier Hotels has continued openings of selected hotels, as well as opening all booking channels for hotels into 2021.

The hotels will open in a phased approach with selected services and new Premier CleanCheck protocols in place – involving cleanliness, sanitisation, preventative measures, staff training, and guest education on arrival and during their stay. The protocols also adhere to new Health and Safety Best Practice Standards to respect social distancing, strict sanitisation methods and the use of PPE protocols in all hotels.

Premier Splendid Inn Bloemfontein, Premier Hotel Mapungubwe , Premier Hotel ELICC and Premier Hotel Regent re-opened in June. Further hotels opening in July will be Premier Hotel O.R. Tambo, Premier Hotel Midrand, Premier Hotel Pretoria, Premier Splendid Inn Pinetown, Premier Hotel The Richards, Premier Splendid Inn Bayshore.

August will see Premier Hotel Cape Town, Premier Hotel Quatermain, Premier Hotel Falstaff, Premier Hotel The Winkler, Premier Resort Mpongo Private Game Reserve and Premier Splendid Inn Port Edward re-opening. The Quatermain and Falstaff Hotels are receiving major upgrades and refurbishment programmes currently.

Then some of Premier’s resort style hotels will re-open in September, which includes Premier Hotel Roodevalley (also benefitting from a wonderful farmhouse inspired upgrade programme), Premier Hotel Sani Pass, and Premier Resort The Moorings in Knysna.

Also scheduled for October opening is the newly developed Umhlanga precinct – featuring the 4 Star Premier Hotel Umhlanga, 3 Star Premier Splendid Inn, and new conference centre, all located on one site in Umhlanga Ridge – while the Premier Resort Cutty Sark is re-opening following a multi-million rand upgrade in Scottburgh, KwaZulu-Natal.
