Nothing beats a family holiday where kids are entertained and parents can breathe a sigh of relief, knowing that their kids are in good hands, having loads of fun and perhaps even learning a thing or two. Premier Hotels & Resorts is proud to introduce the new Premier Kids’ Club for young guests up to the age of 12, staying over at our selection of Premier Resorts.
The Premier Kids’ Club has been launched for the summer months and festive season at all Premier Resorts with goal of keeping kids stimulated and entertained throughout their stay. The Club’s programmes will be extended for school holidays and predetermined long weekends. All Resorts are well suited to accommodate fun-filled kids holiday activities with adequate indoor and outdoor play areas.
On arrival at a Premier Resort, kids are checked in at the Premier Kids’ Club welcome desk and receive a special goody bag with treats to enjoy. The kids club entertainment team and ambassadors are on hand to facilitate daily events and activities, ensuring Premier’s young guests are well taken care of at all times. This in turn gives parents a well-deserved break to enjoy some ‘me-time’.
Standard activities are available at all resorts and may include kiddies’ talent shows, kids’ Olympic games, treasure hunts, pool games, marshmallow toasting – the list is endless with amazing entertainment and fun.
Premier Kids’ Club members at Premier Resort Sani Pass are known as ‘Berg’ Buddies, whilst the tough youngsters at Premier Resort Mpongo, just outside of East London, are the ‘Bush’ Buddies. Premier Resort The Moorings in Knysna as well as Premier Resort Cutty Sark, being close to the sea, have little ‘Beach’ Buddies in their club.
Over and above the standard offering of activities, each property hosts specific events best suited to the resort. ‘Berg’ Buddies at Premier Resort Sani Pass in the Southern Drakensberg get to experience trail walks and hikes, putt-putt, fly fishing, horse and pony rides and exciting adventure walks to the waterfall on the property.
‘Bush’ Buddies at Premier Resort Mpongo Private Game Reserve focus on activities inspired by the Reserve’s conservation goals. Wildlife, survival bush tactics, basic scout training and game drives allow kids to get up close to giraffe, elephant, lion and buffalo – the young ‘Bush’ Buddies get to experience and learn all about nature and the environment.
Premier Resort The Moorings in Knysna is perfectly positioned on the lagoon for young ‘Beach’ Buddies to learn about marine life, boating, fishing, conservation and the secrets of the Knysna forests. Activities include water sports, tubing and rowing on the lagoon. The Moorings play area themed Titanic 2 has a swing boat and pony rockers, whilst the forest garden includes a swing set, tables and park benches.
Premier Resort Cutty Sark in Scottburgh is the perfect base for young ‘Beach’ Buddies to learn about marine life. Situated right on the Scottburgh beachfront, Premier Resort Cutty Sark also offers a swimming pool, swings and trampolines for young ones to enjoy during their stay at Cutty Sark.
“Parents are welcoming the fact that holidays, even shorter breaks, are about adventures. Instead of being cooped up inside, kids should be on a road to discovery,” says Richard Bray, Premier Resorts’ Operations Manager. Our Premier Resort family friendly holiday destinations in the Southern Drakensberg, East London, Knysna and Scottburgh offer attractive options for family outings.
